UNILAG First-Class Graduate Earns Fully Funded Harvard PhD

Dr Ifeosa Anwulika, a first-class graduate of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), has completed a fully funded PhD at Harvard University, turning a childhood dream into reality.

Ifeosa said she first dreamed of attending Harvard as a teenager but nearly abandoned the application because of self-doubt. She eventually applied directly for a PhD without first earning a master’s degree and secured admission with full funding.

Her inspiring journey has highlighted the importance of dreaming big, overcoming self-doubt and taking opportunities, especially for young Nigerians hoping to study abroad.
