Pete Edochie’s Polygamy Comments Spark Reactions Online
Veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has sparked reactions online after sharing his views on polygamy during an interview with comedian Isbae U on Curiosity Made Me Ask.
Pete said he believes one wife is enough for a man while recounting a story about his late uncle, who had three wives. He explained that his uncle believed having three wives would prevent them from secretly conspiring against him.
Pete added that he would not advise a man to marry more than one wife.
His comments have since triggered discussions among Nigerians on social media, with some users also linking his remarks to his son Yul Edochie’s well-known polygamous marriage.
